Additional terms & conditions for functions at Hazeldene yarra valley

These conditions are additional to Hazeldene's General terms and conditions

  • Function bookings are also subject to accommodation rates and to the minimum stay terms as described in Hazeldene's general terms and conditions.
  • For functions involving outside equipment hire, such as a marquee, there is a minimum reservation of 3 nights.
  • The maximum number at a function at Hazeldene is limited to 120 people.
  • Function bookings are subject to a function facility fee based on the number of guests invited.

Functions for over 20 people must:

  • hire party equipment, including tables, chairs, tableware, crockery, cutlery and glasses
    (the dishwasher must not be used for party equipment)
  • notify Hazeldene for approval of caterers and other suppliers who must provide a current certificate of indemnity for public liability insurance

Functions for over 40 people must, in addition to conditions above, must:

  • include hire of portable toilets
  • not use the pool area, including the changing rooms and toilets
  • utilise shuttle buses
    (buses should be able to negotiate the narrow and steep driveway)


  • The use of confetti or rice within the grounds is prohibited. We suggest bubbles, rose petals or naturally coloured pot pouri and ask that it is used outside the building only. Please advise your guests of this policy.

Amendment or replacement of these terms and conditions

Hazeldene reserves the right to amend or replace these terms and conditions without notice.
